Returns & Refunds Policy

Important: TCGStore is committed to providing a safe and fair marketplace for buying and selling trading cards. This policy outlines our return and refund procedures.

30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of order delivery for the following reasons:

  • Item condition not as described
  • Wrong item received
  • Item damaged in shipping
  • Suspected counterfeit (see Counterfeit Policy)

Return window begins on the delivery date of your order.

How to Request a Return

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to your Order History
  2. Select the order containing the item(s) you wish to return
  3. Click "Request Return" and provide:
    • Reason for return
    • Detailed description of the issue
    • Photos (if applicable, especially for condition disputes or counterfeits)
  4. Submit your request for review by TCGStore support

Return Shipping

Once your return is approved:

  • Return items to TCGStore at the address provided in your return authorization
  • Include your order number and return authorization number
  • Use a trackable shipping method and provide the tracking number
  • TCGStore will validate items upon receipt (typically within 3-5 business days)
Important: For suspected counterfeits, items must be returned to TCGStore (not the seller) for professional authentication and validation.

Refund Methods

Default refund method is store credit, unless you specifically request a refund to your original payment method.

Store Credit (Default)
  • Issued immediately upon validation
  • Never expires
  • Can be used for any purchase on TCGStore
Original Payment Method
  • Available upon request
  • Processed within 5-7 business days
  • May take 3-10 days to appear on your statement

Condition Disputes

If you receive a card in worse condition than listed:

  • Provide clear photos showing the condition issues
  • TCGStore will evaluate based on industry-standard grading guidelines
  • Partial refunds calculated at 10% per condition grade difference
  • Example: Card listed as Near Mint but received as Lightly Played = 10% refund

You may choose to keep the item with a partial refund or return for a full refund.

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Returns requested after 30 days
  • Items damaged by buyer after delivery
  • Items without valid proof of purchase
  • Items that have been altered or modified
  • Buyer remorse without valid reason

Refund Timeline

Day 0: Return request submitted
Day 1-2: TCGStore reviews and approves/denies request
Day 3-10: Buyer ships item to TCGStore
Day 11-15: TCGStore receives and validates item
Day 15-22: Refund processed (immediate for store credit, 5-7 days for original payment)
